The Mitutoyo 500-713-20 ABSOLUTE Coolant Proof Caliper Series 500 with Dust/Water Protection. It will help speeds up your workflow and dramatically reduces measurement errors related to repeated zeroing in workspaces where exposure to coolant, oil, water, or prolific dust is expected. It is dustproof, complies with EN60529 and withstands temporary complete immersion in water without suffering any damage. It is easy-to-use and no need to wipe or clean the scale.
You can set an absolute zero point for the calipers to remember. So you don’t have to zero them again and again. The ZERO/ABS key allows the display to be Zero-Set at any slider position along the scale for incremental comparison measurements. The same switch lets you return to the absolute (ABS) coordinate and display the true position from the origin point (jaws-closed, or wherever you set yours).
