The Keysight E36731A Battery Emulator and Profiler is a powerful tool designed for precise battery testing, profiling, and emulation. The E36731A combines the functions of a programmable power supply and an electronic load in a two-quadrant architecture, allowing seamless battery charge and discharge operations. With an output range of 0–30 V, a current range of 0–20 A, and a maximum power output of 200 W, the E36731A is ideal for evaluating battery-dependent devices under real-world conditions.
When paired with Keysight’s BV9211B PathWave BenchVue Advanced Battery Emulation software, the E36731A enables advanced features such as battery profiling, real-time emulation of states of charge, and custom cycling sequences to study battery aging. The E36731A supports multiple modes, including Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Current (CC), Constant Resistance (CR), and Constant Power (CP). Its fast transient response (<50 µs) and low ripple (<7 mV peak-to-peak) ensure accurate results.
