Suitable welding processes.
Arc air gouging (CC) Very high output power & duty cycle make these models ideal for carbon arc gouging. The high OCV help maintains a consistent smooth arc regardless of length & built in anti-stick cuts the power in the event of a short down.
MMA Stick electrode welding, (CC) the welding machine’s 88V high OCV facilitates easy welding with various electrodes, including cellulosic types like 6010. Set output amps on the digital display before welding for precision. The superb arc characteristics ensure a smooth weld with minimal spatter. Built-in hot start instantly ignites the arc, and the anti-stick circuit prevents damage during electrode shorts, allowing easy clearance. Adjust the arc force for a more forceful arc and to prevent rod freezing.
TIG welding, (CC) Lift arc tech ensures clean starts. Set amps digitally. TIG welding, with/without a torch switch, allows controlled starts. Torch switch activates output when pressed; without it, output reduces quickly on long arcs. Superb welding characteristics provide smooth, quiet, and stable performance. Adjusting arc force permits higher initial lift arc start current, facilitating large tungsten electrodes for heavy TIG welding.
MIG/MAG welding, (CV) Add a MIG wire feeder for a highly capable welding machine with superior performance. The built-in arc start circuit ensures clean, instant starts. Variable inductance control allows precise tuning. Remote connection provides 24V supply and control for wire feeder. Connect OPTeARC 4 roll drive feeder for full welding control with optional digital display. Alternatively, use welding cables to connect arc voltage wire feeder like TECFEED 350i or TECFEED 450i.
SUB ARC welding, (CC/CV) Add a SUB ARC wire feeder & you have a capable SAW machine. Built in arc start circuit gives clean instant arc starts without ‘machine gunning’. Variable inductance control allows the welding arc to be tuned to suit every operator or application perfectly. Remote connection provides 24V supply for a wire feeder & remote control of the welding power.

Portability.
Standard models are fitted with 300mm puncture proof solid rubber wheels & steel centred caster wheels at the front. A pull out front handle allows the operator to lift & pull from the front like a barrow. With the large wheels fitted the machine stands 825mm above ground. The rear wheels are positioned to take the bulk of the weight with minimal operator effort. This gives great portability easily clearing small obstacles. The front handle retracts back. Lifting eye points allow easy lifting around sites.
Standard supply, options & accessories
Standard supply for all models;400V 3phase input, 3M mains input lead, 3M work lead, blue panels, 300mm rear wheels, front casters, retractable pull/lift front handle & lifting points.
Options include;different input voltage, validation for EN1090, TIG HF functions & gas solenoid built in.
Accessories include;Electrode lead & holder, MIG wire feeder suitcase type 24V, MIG wire feeder suitcase type inline (across the arc), MIG torches, TIG torch options, remote control units, foot pedal with stop/start & variable amps,
