The Testo 616 Wood Moisture Meter is a professional instrument designed to measure moisture in wood. It is a useful tool in the woodworking and building maintenance industry. It provides accurate moisture readings for wood and building materials. Select the material to be measured from the instrument’s database and press the claw against the object. Although it does not penetrate the material, it will give a moisture reading up to a depth of 2 inches.
Moisture is displayed on the backlit LCD as a percentage of moisture content relative to the dry weight of the measured object. Other functions include storing, recording and recalling min/max readings. Effective in detecting moisture damage and monitoring material drying process.
