How do I clean my HPD?

High Pressure Diffusers are a great way to monitor particles in inert compressed gases. Due to particle transport dynamics and following high contamination events small quantities of large particles may be deposited on them HPD inner surfaces causing degraded performance in low contamination or zero count applications with time. To regain optimal data quality, periodic cleaning may be necessary. Cleaning requires minimal tools, clean deionized water, possibly a clean solvent, clean dry air (CDA), and latex gloves. This document includes cleaning and follow up zero count procedures.
