Environment conditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Temperature: (20 \u00f7 28)\u00b0C<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Relative Humidity: (30 \u00f7 70)%RH<\/p>\n<h2><strong>4. Preparation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">&#8211; Visually inspect the Unit Under Test (UUT) for obvious damage that may affect accuracy and\/or operation and note any observations.<br \/>\n&#8211; Connect UUT to suitable power and turn on.<br \/>\n&#8211; Turn on Blackbody, allow warm-up at least 10 minutes or follow manufacturer\u2019s instructions.<br \/>\n&#8211; Technician must be familiar with calibration techniques, content of this calibration procedure and the operator manual of the UUT being calibrated, and the generator being used.<\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>5.\u00a0Perform<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">&#8211; \u00a0Almost infrared thermometer has default emissivity 0.95. Some IR device such as thermal imager, thermal camera can adjust other emissivity. In this case, emissivity shall be set at 0.95 also.<br \/>\n&#8211; Follow user guide of Blackbody, set emissivity equal to 0.95, same with UUT.<br \/>\n&#8211; Base on UUT Distance to Spot ratio (D:S), use measuring tape to set the distance between Blackbody emitting surface and the UUT, that required for calibration process.<\/p>\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">&#8211; Perform at least 5 points evenly distributed across the UUT range. Other test points may follow customer\u2019s requirements.<br \/>\n&#8211; Begin at the lowest calibration point, example -10oC first, then increase for higher points.<br \/>\n&#8211; Set the Blackbody for the first calibration point and allow sufficient time to stabilize.<br \/>\n&#8211; Waiting for stable reading on UUT and the Blackbody, record repeat values.<br \/>\n&#8211; Repeat for remain test points.<br \/>\n&#8211; Calibration now completed, set and allow temperature of Blackbody near to normal room temperature.<br \/>\n&#8211; Turn off Blackbody and UUT, take out and secure all equipment.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>6.\u00a0Tolerance<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 4\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">&#8211; Tolerance given by the customer will be applied for all measurement, unless otherwise provisions.<br \/>\n&#8211; If the customer does not required, the specifications of manufacturer or other source of reference will be used.<br \/>\n&#8211; If not, the tolerance \u00b12oC or \u00b12%reading of UUT will be applied.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
