Due to particle transport dynamics and following high contamination events small quantities of large particles may be deposited on them HPD inner surfaces causing degraded performance in low contamination or zero count applications with time. To regain optimal data quality, periodic cleaning may be necessary. Cleaning requires minimal tools, clean deionized water, possibly a clean solvent, clean dry air (CDA), and latex gloves.
